Sep 29 - Cancer Relief's Gibraltar's Biggest Coffee Morning Raises More Than £3,500
Cancer Relief Gibraltar is delighted to announce that Gibraltar’s Biggest Coffee Morning, held at Boyds, Kings Bastion Leisure Centre last Friday raised the amazing amount of £3642.
The event was a huge success with 236 people coming to have a cup of coffee and a chat with friends and families all to raise funds for Cancer Relief. There were also raffle tickets sold on the day, and accessories being sold to raise money for the charity.
The winners of the raffle were:

- Wash and blow dry from Janice Hair salon: Aarti , brown ticket no. 206 to 210
- Suitcase from Benamor: Eileen Bay ticket no. 721 to 725
- Weekend for two from Parody Tours: Ivana Finlyson brown ticket no 26 to 30
- Cancer Relief cake anonymous donation: Caroline Canessa ticket no. 296 to 300
- Cake voucher Gibraltar Confectionery: Lillian Prior pink ticket no. 481 to 485
- Box of wine from Boyds: Lydia Cortes green ticket no 111 to 115
A spokesman for Cancer Relief said: "I would like to thank everyone who attended as well as our fund-raising volunteers and all those generous sponsors who donated prizes for the raffle. Our goal is to make sure that no one has to face cancer alone.
"Since the new Cancer Relief Centre opened in 2013 we have been able to support over 300 people, some patients and others loved ones. None of this would be possible were it not for the generosity of so many people in the community so once again, a huge thank you to all our supporters!"
