Oct 23 - Bayside Charity Walk On Monday

The students of Bayside School will be participating in a charity walk on Monday 26 October. Students will attempt to walk the distance from the school to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London where many local children have received treatment.

The distance from Gibraltar to Great Ormond Street is 1759km which equates to 4397.5 laps around the athletics track at the Victoria Stadium. Each student will be encouraged to complete as many laps as they are comfortable with in the space of around an hour.

The money raised through sponsorship will be distributed to a number of charities chosen by the students themselves including RICC and A Pathway Through Pain.
