Oct 27 - Bosom Buddies Cancer Trust Sells 600 Calendars On First Day

Braving the rain at the weekend, volunteers from the Bosom Buddies Cancer Trust sold 600 copies of their 2016 calendar at the Piazza on Saturday.

This year’s calendar has been produced together with the Gibraltar Classic Car Association, and features male and female patients, survivors and volunteers.

The cover was designed, painted and signed by local artist Christian Hook.

The charity has already raised £3,00 from calendar sales, and will be donating £1 from each calendar sold to GBC Open Day before Christmas.

The calendars can now be bought at Hearts boutique and Rock Photos in the ICC, for £5 each.

There are a limited number of calendars on sale. Charity volunteers will be selling more calendars at the Convent Christmas Fair on 26^th November and Morisson’s Supermarket on 12^th December.
