Jan 26 - Gibraltar Cancer Charities Come Together For World Cancer Day

February 4 is World Cancer Day, and for the first time ever The Gibraltar Cancer Charities together with the GHA have teamed up to support this worldwide event. 

Through the celebration of World Cancer Day it is intended to bring everyone together to reflect upon what you, as an individual, can do to support the overriding cause.

We will be holding a combined event at the Piazza on the day creating awareness, which can ultimately result in prevention and early detection.

Please come along to take part in our ‘hands on’ collage on Thursday 4th February and also keep an eye out for updates on our plans via the Facebook event ‘Gibraltar World Cancer Day’ and through the local press. 

Taking place under the global tagline ‘We Can. I Can’ World Cancer Day 2016 will explore how everyone – either collectively or as individuals – can do their part to reduce the global burden of cancer.

We are also pleased to announce that the Schools and all HM Government of Gibraltar Ministers will be supporting this event so would welcome the whole of the community to equally embrace this. 

Whatever you choose to do ‘We Can.  I Can’ make a difference to the fight against cancer.
