Feb 04 - Clubhouse Gibraltar Hosts "Time To Talk Today"

Clubhouse Gibraltar held “Time to Talk Day” today to help encourage people to open up and to talk about mental health over a cup of tea or coffee and cakes.

The event was held in the Music Room at the King’s Chapel, and was attended by people across the community who come across vulnerable adults in their workplace including youth service, the social services, the Royal Gibraltar Police and GHA staff.

Clubhouse Gibraltar CEO Emily Adamberry Olivero said today’s event was held to give people the opportunity to talk about mental health issues in a friendly atmosphere and to be able to listen to others and find answers to questions they never thought to question.

She added: “We want to create awareness, reduce stigma and give people hope and to help them understand that they are not alone.”
