Mar 16 - St Anne’s School’s ‘Fitness and Health Charity Challenge 2016’
St Anne’s School will be taking part in its annual ‘Health and Fitness Charity Challenge’ tomorrow at 2pm. Pupils, staff, auxiliary staff, parents and friends of the school will be power-walking or jogging around the Bayside Sports Complex (athletics track) for forty- five minutes, after a warm up session led by Janine Pereira (GibFit Club, Piloxing MT). The school is aiming to raise funds for the Gibraltar based charity: ‘Action For Schools - Sierra Leone, (registered charity no. 246.), Cancer Research Gibraltar and MND Gibraltar.
Donations on the day are welcome and will be distributed amongst the chosen charities. Donations to Action For Schools – Sierra Leone can also be made securely online via the following link: https://www.justgiving.com/action4schools-sl.
The school would like to thank Janine Pereira, Albert Tellez and Steven Victory from the GSLA, George from St John Ambulance, for their participation, and Saccone and Speed for their donation of water bottles for every child taking part in this event.
