Feb 27 – Bayside Students Raise Funds For Clubhouse
Recently, three Year 10 Bayside students (Harry Gonzalez, Michael Mackie and Logan Russell) under the guidance of teacher Mrs Maria Palma organized a cake sale to raise funds to purchase a much-needed urn for local charity Clubhouse Gibraltar. The cake sale was a great success and they were able to donate £90 towards the purchase of the urn.
The three students were very impressed with the support that Clubhouse Gibraltar provides and they said mental health was an issue very close to their hearts. They also paid a visit to the Clubhouse and heard from the members themselves what Clubhouse had meant to them and the variety of support that is available to members. The three students were clearly very impressed with the available support and asked very interesting questions.
