Mar 15 – GSLY Begins Community Initiative
This month the GSLP's Youth Section (GSLY) begins its ‘Community Initiative’ to fundraise for Calpe House.
Through a series of monthly events and challenges the GSLY is looking for the community’s support to raise as much money as possible to help a good cause.
A spokesperson said: “Calpe House is a home away from home for the residents of Gibraltar who are undergoing medical treatment in London. The Calpe House Charitable Trust is a charity registered both in Gibraltar and England. Its aim is to run a home in London for the benefit of patients referred to London hospitals by the Gibraltar Health Authority.”
On Saturday 18th of March the GSLY will be organising a 24-Hour Cycling Challenge at Eclipse Lounge in Casemates starting at 10:00 am. Food and drink will be provided for participants. Come down and join the Initiative!
