June 08 - More Than 40 Models Take Part In Fighting Leukaemia With Fashion Show
More than 40 models, including the Miss Gibraltar 2017 contestants, took part in this year's Fighting Leukaemia With Fashion show held at the Alameda Open Air Theatre on Friday night.
The show was organised by No1 Models and presented by the current Miss Gibraltar Kayley Mifsud, and money raised from the event will go towards BloodWise Gibraltar Charity.
As well as a large number of models, the Miss Gibraltar contestants also took part. They walked the catwalk in clothes from Trends and four local designers, namely Kimberley Bautista, Mystic Rose, Claire Poggio and Miriam Gomez.
The show was choreographed by No1 Models director Kelvin Hewitt, who put together seven routines over the past three months.
Kelvin said: "No1 Models focuses on local charities and encourages the models to use their beauty in a positive way to help others and not just for a personal gain.
"We have already made plans for future charity shows and we are working on a winter edition of Fighting Leukemia With Fashion."
