Feb 05 - Fifth Pancake Day In Aid Of Cancer Relief Gibraltar

Calling all lovers of pancakes and supporters of Cancer Relief! This year we are holding our 5th Pancake Day fund-raising event on Shrove Tuesday 13th February. Once again this year, thanks to the generosity of the Royal Gibraltar Regiment the event will be held at Grand Battery House (the old Parcel Post Office by the iron bridge above Casemates). Pancakes will be made by the Regiment catering staff and our hard-working volunteers will be ready to serve you delicious pancakes between 10am and 2pm. Please do come along and support us. Entrance is £5 for a pancake and a cuppa, £2.50 for children under 12.

Pancakes can also be enjoyed at any time at participating restaurants such as the Gibraltar Arms, Jury’s, Lord Nelson, O’Reilly’s, the Pancake Factory, Star Bar, The Bridge and Time Out. These restaurants will kindly give a donation for every pancake served.

For those who cook their pancakes at home, why not get families and friends together, get out your frying pans and enjoy a scrumptious pancake whilst at the same time making a donation to Cancer Relief Gibraltar?   Take some photos and send them to Cancer Relief (This email address is being protected from spambots. Other people are opting to serve pancakes during their breaks at work and others are hosting their own events in clubs and different groups around Gibraltar. Why not do the same?

So you see, there are many different ways you can support Cancer Relief Gibraltar. Please help us to make the days a success. All funds raised go to towards helping people affected by cancer in the community.
