May 15 - Cancer Relief Celebrates Dying Matters Week
Cancer Relief is hosting an awareness day today until 2pm in Piazza as part of Dying Matters week.
The team have set up stalls with leaflets on different ways of coping and dealing with death, a small card game and an area where you can list one of the things you want to do before you die.
This international week focuses on the work of the Dying Matters organisation. It is a coalition of individual and organisational members, which aims to help people talk more openly about dying, death and bereavement, and to make plans for the end of life.
A spokesperson said: "We will be supporting the awareness week in Gibraltar and would like to invite you to come along if you have any spare time. We will be at the Piazza till 2pm, asking people to leave their comments and get involved in our conversation starter game!"
