Oct 28 - Mayor to Launch Movember Campaign
A reception will be hosted by His Worship the Mayor on Friday to launch the now annual Movember Prostate Cancer awareness campaign. The event has become an annual launch, with Movember serving to raise awareness for prostate cancer and similar prostate related issues.
Men are encouraged to grow a moustache for the month of November to both raise funds for the charity and to encourage men to be vigilant about the issue.
The coffee morning will commence at 11:30am at the Mayor’s Parlour in City Hall.
