Jan 23 - Culture Ministry Donates Winter Party Funds to GBC Open Day
This afternoon Ministry of Culture official Daniel Guerrero, Minister for Culture Steven Linares and a representative of Saccone and Speed presented a cheque to the GBC Open Day Fund. The £370 donation was raised at the hugely popular Winter Party in Town event that featured Boney M.
Saccone and Speed donated their part through the selling of Drambuie Hot Toddys. The Ministry for Culture took the time to thank the Urban Dance Team for assisting them in collecting the money. They further thanked Saccone and Speed for their help.
A statement from the Minister thanked all those who took part in the event, particularly their sponsors, the GFSB. He added, ‘a final special thanks goes to the general public for turning out in their thousands to support this first edition of the Winter Party In Town.’
