Jul 14 – Big Welcome On Saturday For The Clock To Rock Team
Clock to Rock, in aid of Cancer Relief and the Gibraltar Disability Society, are having a fundraising morning this Saturday 18th July, in Casemates Square. Mark Cooper, Simon Morgan and Graham Dyer will be finishing their Clock to Rock event - cycling from Big Ben to Casemates – and will arrive at midday.
Cancer Relief Gibraltar would like to invite anybody from the community who has been affected by cancer, or simply wants to show support, to join Mark, Simon and Graham for the last bit of their cycle. This will be from the frontier, down Line Wall road, then along Main Street to finish in Casemates Square. Cyclists can join them from the frontier and families with smaller children can join from the John Mackintosh Hall or Piazza.
Cancer Relief will be in Casemates for registration from 10am, the RGP will have cycling safety information and GBC will be holding a radio roadshow live in Casemates. Cancer Relief will also be having fun events all morning so come and see for yourself or just come to Casemates for the final arrival.
Mark Cooper has reached his target for Cancer Relief and is still pushing forward so the organisers want to ensure a large crowd can join the boys on the last bit of the trip and give them the welcome home they deserve. Mark’s donation will be used to fund the different services offered by Cancer Relief Gibraltar to people with cancer and their families.
