  • Government Disappointed at EU Parliament Delisting Vote

    The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).

Jan 15 - Man Arrested For Tampering With A Vehicle In Laguna Estate

A 20-year-old local man was arrested yesterday at Laguna Estate following a report that he was attempting to break into a vehicle.

Christopher Wink was arrested after officers were deployed to the estate and following a chase on foot.

Wink was interviewed under caution and has been charged with:

1x count of tampering with a motor vehicle.


1x count of going equipped for theft.


1x count of obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty.

Bail was refused and he was detained in police custody pending his court appearance today.
