    The Government says it notes, “with disappointment”, the European Parliament’s objection, today, to the entry into force of the European Commission’s decision to remove certain jurisdictions, including Gibraltar, from the EU’s list of ‘high-risk’ third-countries with strategic deficiencies as regards anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (“AML/CFT”).

Oct 30 - RGP Arrest Two Men For Unlawful Sexual Conduct

Yesterday the RGP arrested two men following unrelated episodes of unlawful sexual conduct. The first was committed at Glacis Estate on Sunday and the second yesterday morning at Europa Point.

In the first incident, a 19 year old Spanish national sexually assaulted a woman in a lift in Glacis Estate.

The second was a local resident British national aged 32, exposed his genitalia in front of a woman in the area of Europa Point.

RGP are continuing their investigations with no further persons being sought at this time.
