Apr 07 - Spanish Man Arrested For Tobacco Offences And Dangerous Driving
A 26-year-old Spanish national resident in La Linea, Spain, was arrested in the early hours of this morning for the Possession and Unlawful Transportation of 50,000 cigarettes, in addition to offences of Dangerous Driving and Obstructing Police.
The arrest came about after patrol officers challenged the individual whilst driving a locally registered vehicle, resulting in a pursuit that concluded with his arrest and the seizure of cigarettes and vehicle.
The man is currently on Police bail whilst investigations continue.
