Jun 01 – La Linea Man Charged Following Catalan Bay Incident
A 29-year-old British national has been arrested and charged following an incident at Catalan Bay this weekend.
Martin Luke Darnbrook, a resident of La Linea, Spain, was yesterday evening charged with one count of committing an act outraging public decency and one count of causing harassment and distress.
The charges follow his arrest on Monday afternoon for conduct likely to cause a breach of the peace at Catalan Bay by uniformed officers acting on information received from members of the public.
An extensive investigation by officers from the Crime and Protective Services Division throughout the course of Monday evening and yesterday, concluded with Darnbrook being charged with the said offences.
He remains in Police custody and will be appearing before the Magistrates’ Court today.
