Jun 01 - Caleta Incident – Man Remanded In Custody

A man who was arrested on Monday afternoon in Catalan Bay has been remanded in custody.

The 29-year-old British national, Martin Luke Darnbrook, a resident of La Linea, Spain, appeared before the Magistrates' Court today and pleaded guilty having been charged yesterday evening with one count of committing an act outraging public decency and one count of causing harassment and distress.

The matter has been adjourned for sentencing at the Supreme Court on 28^th June - the defendant will be in custody until then at HM Prison Windmill Hill.
