Jun 10 - Man And Woman Arrested For Possession Of Class C Drugs
A 41-year-old Spanish man and a 32-year-old local woman, both resident in Gibraltar, were arrested yesterday evening on suspicion of being in possession of controlled Class C drugs, namely 80 x 50mg Tramadol Hydrochloride tablets.
Tramadol is an opioid pain medication used to treat "moderate to moderately severe pain."
Their arrests followed the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Glacis Estate by Drugs Squad officers.
Both persons were later released on bail pending further enquiries.
