Jul 12 - Main Street Retail Outlet Director Among Tobacco Arrests

As the result of an ongoing operation focusing on illicit tobacco activity, HM Customs yesterday evening arrested two individuals for possession of 20,000 cigarettes.

A Director of a retail outlet in Main Street has also been arrested for breaches of conditions of a tobacco license.

A vehicle has been seized and all three defendants have been released on bail until the 26th July whilst investigations are ongoing.
