Jul 21 - RGP Signs MoU With Hospital And Institutions Committee Of Narcotics Anonymous

The Royal Gibraltar Police (RGP) and the Hospital & Institutions Committee of Narcotics Anonymous (NA), have today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the purpose of which is to establish a framework for the “facilitation of support to addicts who come into contact with Police officers.”

The MoU will see Narcotics Anonymous literature being displayed and made available throughout all Police buildings, with particular emphasis being placed within the Custody Suite facilities.

This new framework will also enable Police officers to seek the attendance of appropriate representatives at the request of detainees, offer NA literature to suspected drug users and provide NA contact point details to anyone seeking advice about any drug related matters.
