Aug 08 - Local Man Charged For Possession With Intent To Supply Cocaine
A 36-year-old man was remanded in custody after he appeared before the Magistrates’ Court on Friday for possession of and possession with intent to supply 15 grams of cocaine.
Gerard Asquez, of Somerset Court, Laguna Estate was charged following a drug squad operation last week.
He was arrested earlier in the week and was found to be in possession of a wrapper containing cocaine, and subsequently tried to dispose of individual wrappers of cocaine weighing approximately 15 grams which were concealed within a body cavity.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear at the Supreme Court on Friday 9th September.
