Aug 18 - North African Migrants Land At Catalan Bay

At least 10 North African migrants have landed this morning at Catalan Bay onboard a “patera” (pictured below).

Some individuals have been detained by the RGP and are reportedly “tired” but not requiring immediate medical attention.

The RGP and other law enforcement agencies are conducting a search operation as more individuals are believed to be in the area.

The public is urged to report anything which might be relevant to this search to the RGP.
