Sep 01 - Man Charged With Wounding With Intent

A 56-year-old local man was charged with wounding with intent following his arrest yesterday afternoon.

Joseph Anthony Prescott, of Warspite House, Varyl Begg Estate, was arrested yesterday afternoon by the Area Response Team officers who were investigating reports of a disturbance at a home in the area. 

Prescott was detained at New Mole House overnight and appeared before the Magistrates’ Court this morning.
