Oct 14 - RGP Seize Vehicle Containing 120,000 Cigarettes
Response Team officers have seized a locally registered vehicle and 12 cases containing 120,000 cigarettes.
The seizure resulted from a high speed vehicle pursuit in the early hours of yesterday morning, when uniformed patrol officers challenged the vehicle in the area of Queensway.
After a brief high-speed pursuit, the vehicle was abandoned and the occupants made good their escape into a residential area in the Westside area.
The investigation is ongoing.The retail value of the cigarettes seized is of £15,000.
