Feb 07 - Jury Dismissed In Supreme Court Trial
The jury was dismissed at a Supreme Court trial that began yesterday of a man who allegedly wounded his former partner with a drill.
Puisne Judge Karen Ramagge Prescott dismissed the jury of nine, telling them a matter had arisen which could compromise the trial process.
Joseph Anthony Prescott maintains his innocence in relation to one count of causing wounding with intent.
He will next appear at the Supreme Court on Tuesday 28th February.
