Jun 07 - Man Remanded Over Copacabana Burglary Charge
An 18-year-old man was remanded in custody after his appearance at the Magistrates’ Court this morning.
Jamil Medhurst was arrested on suspicion of committing a burglary at the Copacabana Bar in Main Street. He entered a plea of not guilty.
Medhurst was refused bail by the Magistrate and the case has been adjourned until next week.
