Jul 31 - Seven Rescued From Sea Charged With Immigration Offences
Seven improperly documented male individuals who were recovered from the sea last week have been charged with Immigration offences.
The individuals were recovered from the sea by the Gibraltar Pilot’s launch off the detached mole on Thursday night and were subsequently handed over to Police. They remain in Police custody pending their appearance in court later this morning.
All seven, four of whom have indicated that they are juveniles, are of North African origin and believed to be of Moroccan nationality.
