Jul 23 - Man Jailed For Stealing Money From Charity Collection Box
A Spanish man was yesterday arrested by RGP officers after a report of a burglary at a local establishment in Ocean Village was reported to Police.
Antonio PLAZA NAVARRO, aged 35 years and a resident in La Linea, Spain, appeared in the Magistrates Court this morning charged with one count of burglary, after having stolen an unknown amount of monies from a collection box, for Save The Children Fund at O’Riley’s Bar. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 6 weeks imprisonment.
