Aug 08 - Tobacco Arrests Update: Six Men Receive Fines
The six men charged with the tobacco offences yesterday evening have appeared before the Magistrates Court today. All have pleaded guilty.
Thomas Neale, Joseph Neale and Ian Goodes were each fined £3,100 and Jesus Arcangel Linares, Juan Carlos Ortero and Juan Morente Moreno were each fined £1,200.
The vessels have not been forfeited and will be returned to their owners. The tobacco has been forfeited.
