Sep 04 - 40 kg Cannabis Bale Seized At Eastern Beach
Consequent to a report from an off-duty Officer of HM Customs, an area search of the Eastern Beach coastline was conducted by HM Customs assisted by the RGP Marine Unit.
The search resulted in the detection of a hessian-wrapped bale of cannabis resin slabs weighing over 40kg.
Investigation is ongoing.
