Dec 05 - Local In Drugs And Ammunition Charges

The Royal Gibraltar Police Drug Squad has arrested and charged a 42 year old local man on suspicion of drugs offences. The arrest took place on Wednesday the 4th December.

Following the search of residential premises by Drug Squad officers assisted by the RGP Police Dogs, Jason POSSO, aged 42, of Buena Vista Road, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug, approximately 15 grams of Amphetamine. A small amount of Cannabis Resin and three rounds of 9mm ammunition were also seized.

POSSO was later charged with:

1. One count of possession with intent to supply of a controlled drug, approximately 15 grams of Amphetamine.
2. One count of possession of a controlled drug, approximately 15 grams of Amphetamine.
3. One count of possession of a controlled drug, approximately 3 grams of Cannabis Resin.
4. Once count of possession of ammunition, three 9mm rounds.

POSSO was then bailed out on his own recognizance and will be appearing at the Magistrates’ Court at 10am on Thursday the 5th December.
