Dec 23 - Cigarette Seizure And Arrest
HM Customs seized a commercial quantity of cigarettes in the early hours of Sunday morning.
A locally registered vehicle was stopped and searched on Winston Churchill Avenue near the entrance to Western Beach after the driver was seen acting suspiciously in the area. The man, a locally resident 20-year old, was arrested after 21,000 cigarettes (105 cartons) were found in the car. The man has been bailed to surrender on January 15th 2014.
The cigarettes and the vehicle have been seized by HM Customs.
