Oct 07 - New Dog for the RGP
Newest RGP police dog Coco is a four-year-old female German Shepherd from the South Yorkshire Police. ‘COCO’ is the second female GPD with the RGP, the first being GPD ‘TARA’ who is paired with PC Jansen Olivero. The RGP now has four fully operational licensed GPDs including, ‘Coco’, ‘Prince’, ‘Tara’ and ‘Stig’.
PC Nicole Buckley recently undertook a training course locally between the 4th August and 12th September 2014.
The course was run by Police Dog Handler Training Instructor PS Louis Baglietto who earlier this year attended a Trainer’s course with the South Yorkshire Police.
