Feb 06 - Two Men Cleared Of Attempted Robbery
Two men who were on trial this week charged with attempted robbery were found not guilty by a jury at the Supreme Court this afternoon.
Lee Cruz-Parry and Domingo Lopez Alvarez had pleaded not guilty to attempted robbery.
It was alleged by the Crown that, in September 2014, Alvarez and Cruz-Parry were serving as lookouts during an attempted robbery carried out by a juvenile at Danny’s store on Main Street.
In December last year, the 14-year old boy admitted attempting to rob the store at knifepoint and was jailed for eight months.
