Mar 13 - RGP Prescription Drugs Collection Campaign
The RGP’s Neighbourhood Policing Unit has today ended its prescription drugs collection campaign which commenced last Thursday 5th March. During this time, a large number of expired or unwanted prescription medicines were handed in to the RGP teams, not only at the collection point at the ICC, but also the district offices and on visits to Albert Risso House and Bishop Canilla House.
The RGP says it would like to remind the public that unwanted or expired prescription drugs are potentially dangerous if abused or misused and may prove a health hazard if not disposed of properly and in time. If members of the public still have such medicines at home, the RGP recommends that they hand them over to their pharmacy for safe disposal.
