Jun 17 - Cocaine Concealed In Greeting Card Seized At Froniter – Local Arrested

Yesterday afternoon HM Customs stopped a 25 year old local male resident at the pedestrian channel as he arrived from Spain. Following a search, officers found four wrappers concealed inside a greeting card. These contained a white powder which tested positive to Cocaine with an approximate weight of two grams.

The person was arrested and bailed out to be charged at a later date.

This arrest is the latest in a string of detections following the deployment of new Customs Officers after the completion of their training and, says HM Customs, is indicative of the positive value that the recruitment process is having across the various expanding sections of the service.
