Jul 08 - Seventh Anniversary Of The Disappearance Of Chaima Slim

This coming Friday the 10th July sees the seventh anniversary of Chaima Slim’s disappearance. Chaima, who is now 26 years of age was last seen at around midnight on Sunday 10th July 2008 as she walked across the frontier into Spain.

The Royal Gibraltar Police continue to carry out enquiries into her possible whereabouts and periodically review the investigation. Any new potential lines of enquiry will be pursued.

Chaima continues to be listed worldwide as a Missing Person on Interpol’s databases. This in effect means that the RGP will be alerted should any information come to light elsewhere than in Gibraltar.

Unfortunately no new information has been forthcoming during the past year. The RGP continue to appeal to the general public for any information concerning Chaima’s whereabouts.

Any person wishing to provide any information relating to Chaima should contact the RGP Duty Officer at Police Headquarters on telephone No. +350 200 72500. Alternatively they can call Women in Need on telephone +350 200 42581 where a voicemail service is provided daily between 1500hrs to 0800hrs.
