Government Announces Beach Security Cameras Will Operate 24/7

The Government has announced new security measures at Gibraltar’s beaches, including 24-hour camera operation and additional monitoring.

A statement from the Government follows below:

As part of increased security arrangements, the Government wishes to announce that the beach cameras will now operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year. They will also have the ability for night vision. Additionally cameras with be installed at Rosia Bay and motion sensitive lighting will be provided.
