Jan 05 – All Set For Tonight’s Cavalcade
Volunteers are putting the finishing touches to eight floats which are set to participate in this evening’s cavalcade up Main Street. They will be joined by the Royal Gibraltar Regiment Band, the Sea Scouts Pipe Band, Miss Gibraltar and Princesses and, of course, the Three Kings themselves.
Although there’s been some light rain early this morning, skies are expected to remain clear for the big event.
The cavalcade parade starts from Casemates Square and moves up Main Street as from 7.30pm.
Organisers advise all those who want sweets to make sure they are lined up before 7.15pm when Gibraltar Cultural Services staff dressed up as cartoon characters will be distributing them.
