It rained, it was windy, it was cold – at one point, the kids were told to find shelter…
Although there were doubts whether the Cavalcade would go ahead, organisers stuck to their promise that the traditional annual celebration would not be derailed by adverse weather conditions.
In the end, it was a feast of colour and music with eight highly original floats, cartoon characters, beauty queens and the Three Kings making their way up Main Street on schedule.

Senior Second prize: Inside Out by the Balloqui family
Senior Third prize: Nativity by St Bernard's Church
Junior First prize: Peter Pan by The Youth Centre
Junior Second prize: The Evacuation by Laguna Youth Club
Junior Third prize: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by 1/4th Scouts
