Mar 23 - Minister Congratulates Karel Chichon On Being Elected Fellow Of The RAM

The Minister of Culture, Steven Linares has congratulated conductor Karel Chichon OBE for having been elected a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Music (FRAM).

The Governing Body of the Royal Academy of Music in London is one of the elite music conservatoires in the world. Under the Academy's Royal Charter of 1830, Fellowship is awarded to those musicians who have distinguished themselves within the profession or who have rendered distinguished service to the institution. Other Fellows of the Royal Academy of Music include Sir Henry Wood, Dame Felicity Lott and Sir Simon Rattle.
