Aug 01 - 'Girl Forgotten' – Local Author Releases Third Novel This Autumn
Local author Carla Acheson is set to publish her third novel this September entitled ‛Girl Forgotten.’ The historical mystery drama follows the life and death of an orphan and spans across two different time periods.
Ms Acheson’s debut novel, The Last Gift, reached No 1 in “Amazon’s Top 100 Paid Bestsellers” in Fiction Classics last autumn, as a result of a major peak in book sales across the UK. The book was then picked up internationally with Paperback editions available in stores such as Booktopia, Australia, and across UK library/academic institutions.
Ms Acheson comments: “I am thrilled with everything my books have achieved in the last four years, and with each one I try to push the boat out a little further. I think my defining moment is being catalogued this year in FictionDB.com and the UK Historical Society. That’s when you realise you’re considered as a serious author and it’s no longer a pipe dream or hobby, but an actual career.”
‛Girl Forgotten’ will be available first as an E-book and Kindle Edition in September followed by the paperback on global stores.
