Oct 17 - Christmas Festival Of Lights

The Gibraltar Cultural Services, on behalf of the Ministry of Culture and in conjunction with the Gibraltar Electricity Authority, will organise the Christmas Festival of Lights on Friday 18th November 2016 from 6pm at John Mackintosh Square.

The traditional Christmas lights switching-on ceremony, together with a song and dance variety show, is a popular community event that marks the start of the holiday season. Children will also be able to enjoy a special appearance by Father Christmas and his Elves.

Following the switching-on ceremony, the Christmas lights will turn on automatically every day until the 6th January 2017.

A full programme of events will be released in due course.
