Feb 17 - Gibraltar Author Set To Release Third Novel

Local author Carla Acheson is set to release her third fiction novel in paperback via online retailers.

Following the success of her debut novel ‘The Last Gift’ which catapulted to the top of Amazon’s Kindle bestsellers charts in late 2015, her new novel takes a slightly more dark and suspenseful tone.

Ms Acheson says: “Girl Forgotten is still set in the past but I have added a mysterious murder to the plot. A young girl is tragically hurt, sent away to an orphanage by her parents, then her remaining twin sister is never told why. Once she reaches an adult age she slowly unveils the truth behind the tragic life and death of her twin. I would call it a sentimental story but it also proves that sometimes those you love and think you know well, are never quite who they seem.”

A limited number of signed paperbacks are now available for pre-order here.
General paperback editions will be available to order in March via most online book retailers.

Carla is currently residing in the United Kingdom as part of a promotional campaign in response to a widening audience. Follow her Facebook page for news, competitions and updates. https://www.facebook.com/achesonbooks/
