Sep 20 – GNDO Celebrates IDO’s Birthday

The Gibraltar National Dance Organisation (GNDO) celebrated the International Dance Organisation’s (IDO) birthday on the 18th September.

The 18th September 1981 saw the founding of the IDO by four countries: France, Italy, Switzerland and Gibraltar. Thirty-six years later, the IDO boasts over 90 member nations and contacts and represents over half a million dancers around the world.

The GNDO is celebrating this special day by participating in various performances with the song 'Better when I am dancing' by Meghan Trainor. Local dance schools have been busy preparing for this, and all photos and videos will be posted on IDO social media sites on Saturday 23rd September.
