Leila Benallal is the fifth contestant to sign up for the Mrs Gibraltar competition.

She is one of four candidates who signed up on Wednesday afternoon at the Grille 53 restaurant.

Why have you decided to sign up?: I became a mum quite young - I’ve always wanted to take past in pageants but I haven’t been able to. Having Mrs Gibraltar gives mums an opportunity to also have a chance to take part. My daughter is a big fan of mine when I do shows so I’m doing this for her and for my self-confidence.
