May 10 Laguna Youth Club Disco
Laguna Youth Club will be holding a much-awaited Disco for under 14s next week on Friday 17th May. The Government said that youth workers and trainees have been working hard to give young people a chance to acquire new skills, including learning how to help out in the DJ booth and tuck shop. They say that this has encouraged them to take on new responsibilities and develop a sense of ownership in activities.
The disco will commence at 8.30pm and finish by 11.30pm. The entrance fee is £2.00. The Royal Gibraltar Police’s Neighbourhood Policing Unit will be supporting this event and two of their officers will be present at the disco.
Laguna Youth Club have said that they would be grateful if parents could pick up their children by 11.30pm and remind parents and their children that more events of this type are being planned for the near future.
