Apr 03 - Sponsors Sought For Gib Literary Festival
Fresh from his presence at the recent FT Weekend Oxford Literary Festival, the Minister for Tourism, Neil Costa, has declared that the second edition of the Gibunco Gibraltar Literary Festival is already taking shape and promises to be another memorable event in Gibraltar’s cultural calendar.
“We are already working hard to ensure that a good contingent of prestigious writers is attracted to our second international festival. There is a great deal of interest in literary circles in the UK and the potential of our festival is tremendous,” said the Minister.
Mr Costa introduced the newly created Gibraltar Lecture, which was delivered by award-winning African writer Ben Okri.
The dates for the festival of 14th to 16th November 2014 have now been confirmed.
